LAST NIGHTS PRAYER

“Greatness doesn’t lie in you being better than somebody else, but in achieving the goals, you set out to do and accomplishing every task you set, your fears and doing the things you’ve never done before.”

There is something about the long nights! Thoughts keep creeping up in your head as you stare through the dark, remembering all the days’ events. Forgiving and unforgiving the ones that hurt you, battling with the mind, to think of the good or the bad that happened in the day, hoping for good dreams wishing for that lullaby call, to be from the one who matters.

You hope for peace and calm, which is a drought. Finally, you realise how cold it is outside of your world, as you struggle yourself to sleep! If you had a good day like my today, you have nothing wrong to say to the Almighty but only thanks to him who creates miracles out of nothing!

The past three months have been about pushing for consistency, losing, learning and doing something new. Through this, I’ve realised we have numerous keys to our greatness. They all lie beside us, and we choose which key we want to use to be different and be just that one step ahead of the next person.

Greatness doesn’t lie in you being better than somebody else, but in achieving the goals, you set out to do and accomplishing every task you set, your fears and doing the things you’ve never done before. It’s about being a better version of yourself today than yesterday!
